01 FACTS & EVIDENCE
American Airlines Flight 618 diverted to Baltimore on September 3, 2026 after passenger Arthur Lundeen allegedly became violent. Police arrested him and he faces second-degree assault and disorderly-conduct charges. Witness accounts describe physical aggression toward his seatmate; Jonathan Cahn later identified himself as that seatmate. The criminal allegations remain subject to adjudication.
02 BIBLICAL PERSPECTIVE
Scripture permits spiritual discernment, but it also requires truthfulness. Christians need not deny the spiritual realm to insist that a spiritual explanation be tested rather than smuggled into the factual record as proof.
03 SPIRIT-LED REFLECTION
Ask whether fascination with the dramatic is outrunning discernment. Can you acknowledge Cahn's interpretation without pretending you personally know what was spiritually occurring?
04 FIVEFOLD PERSPECTIVE
Apostolic: protect witness and order. Prophetic: discern spiritual dimensions without sensationalism. Evangelistic: keep Christ clearer than the spectacle. Pastoral: remember the people endangered and distressed. Teaching: distinguish witness testimony, legal allegation and spiritual interpretation.
05 HENRY'S PERSPECTIVE
Pending Henry's review. BYR will not manufacture Henry's personal conclusion. This layer will be added after he gives his own reading of the event.
BEFORE YOU REACT
Clear: a serious onboard disturbance occurred. Uncertain: the ultimate legal findings and any spiritual cause. Avoid: turning spiritual interpretation into verified fact. Wise: hold factual and spiritual questions together without confusing them. Pray: for those affected, justice and truth. WWJD: would your words be as careful if Christ were visibly beside you?
